Food Corporation of India had published the syllabus for different posts of coming FCI Recruitment 2019 exam separately. Food Corporation of India (FCI) has finally released the syllabus for various posts prevailing under the corporation such as J.E. (Mechanical Engineering & Civil, Electrical), Steno Grade-II, Assistant Grade-II (Accounts, Technical, Depot, Hindi, & General), Typist (Hindi) separately. The aspiring candidates can avail their respective syllabus for the specified posts and other vital information by accessing the official website of the FCI, i.e. fci.gov.in .

As per the official notification released, about 4103 posts are available to fill the vacant job seats in East, West, North, South & NE Zones. The eligible candidates can check their syllabus here as well which is as follows:

FCI 2019 Syllabus for Paper- I
  • General Intelligence
  • General Awareness including current events, Data Analysis, English Language, Computer Proficiency.
  • Numerical Ability.
  • General Aptitude consisting Reasoning
  • Data Interpretation
FCI Syllabus Paper- II

For Junior Engineer (Civil Engineering) (Code A):

  • Surveying
  • Soil Mechanics
  • Building Materials
  • Estimating, Costing and Valuation
  • Transportation Engineering
  • Environmental Engineering
  • Structural Engineering
  • Concrete Technology
  • RCC Designs
  • Steel Design
  • Construction Management

For Junior Engineer (Electrical Mechanical Engineering) (Code B):

  • Basic concepts
  • Concepts of current
  • voltage
  • Electrical Machines
  • Estimation and costing
  • Air standard Cycles for IC engines
  • Boilers Refrigeration cycles
  • Transmission and Distribution of power in different power stations
  • Engineering Mechanics and Strength of Materials etc.
Assistant Grade-III (Accounts) (Code G):

The Basic syllabus of Accounting subject includes the following concepts:

Auditing:

(a) Internal & External audit of companies  

(b)Auditing concepts and methods.

Commercial Laws: (Basic Knowledge)

(a) Basics of Sales of Goods Act,

(b) Basics of Company Act,

(c) Basics of Contract Act,

(d) Negotiable Instrument Act

Basic of Computers:

(a) Operating System,

(b) Chats,

(c) Email,

(d) Memory (Internal, External, portable),

(e) Browsers,

(f) Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel),

(g) Networks.

Assistant Grade-III (Technical) (Code H):

  • Agriculture
  • Botany
  • Zoology
  • Chemistry
  • Physics

The above-mentioned syllabus is classified into two categories:

GROUP A – Agriculture, Botany, and Zoology

GROUP B –  Agriculture, Chemistry, and Physics

FCI Syllabus Paper- III
  • General Hindi
  • General English
  • General Awareness
  • General Intelligence, and
  • Computer Knowledge

This exam is applicable for those candidates who wish to seek jobs in Post Code D {Assistant Grade-II (Hindi)}, and Post Code E {Typist (Hindi)}.

FCI Syllabus Paper- IV
  • Paper-IV will be completely online and subjective type test.
  • Two Passages will come in the exam in which you have to convert the content from Hindi to English and vice-versa.

Candidates applying for Post Code D {Assistant Grade-II (Hindi)} has to appear in this paper.

  • General Awareness
  • Computer Knowledge
  • General English
  • General Intelligence
  • MS Word
  • basic knowledge of the Internet.

Candidates applying for Post Code C {Steno Grade-II} has to appear in this exam.

FCI Recruitment Exam Pattern

The examination of FCI Recruitment 2019 will be conducted in two phases,i.e. Phase 1 and Phase 2 respectively.
