Uttarakhand Board 10th Exam 2024: was announced to be conducted on 20th June. Based on the latest Uttarakhand Board 10th Exam 2024 Notification, the timetable is going to be released on the official website of UBSE. 

Note: The examinations were supposed to be conducted in March but due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and National Lockdown the exams were postponed and the new date was released. UBSE is responsible for the announcement of Uttarakhand Board 10th Exam notification, registration, syllabus, and result. USE has more than 2600 examination centers across the Uttarakhand state and right now the class 10th result is likely to be announced in July.

Uttarakhand Board 10th Exam 2024: Overview:

Uttarakhand Board 10th Exam is set up in 2001, its headquarters is in the city of Ramnagar, Uttarakhand. UBSE is an educational agency under the control of the Uttarakhand Government. It is responsible for devising and developing the syllabus, textbooks, and other materials, and prescribing courses for the classes and schools affiliated with the Uttarakhand Board of Education. More than 10,000 schools are affiliated with the Uttarakhand Board of Education and more than 3000 exam centers are set up for 30,000 students that appear for their exams every year. 

The literacy rate of Uttarakhand is one of the best in the Indian States, around 79%, with 88% of males and 70% of females. The language instruction in the schools is either Hindi or English. The State has many primary schools, middle schools, high schools, degree colleges, technical colleges, and inter-colleges, etc. The affiliations of these schools are either CBSE, CISCE, or Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE). Since 1st April 2010, the state has made education compulsory till higher secondary.

UK Board 10th examinations are usually conducted from March (Tentative). The admit cards are available for students in February. The Board releases the results in the last week of June (Tentative).

Uttarakhand Board 10th Exam Registration:

The students who will be appearing for the UK Board 10th Exam must register themselves through the official website or their respective schools. The private students or distance learners will be asked for their login information and the password, so they must have it in hand when registering.

Uttarakhand Board 10th Exam Admit Cards:

The Uttarakhand Board releases the UK Board 10th exam admit card on its official website for the registered students. The students who will be appearing for their board exams will be required to have their admit cards with them at the time of entering the examination hall. The private students or distance learners will likewise be provided with an admit card slip from the UK Board Open School. The students must collect their respective admit cards from the examination centers nominated to them.

Uttarakhand Board 10th Exam Syllabus:

The Uttarakhand Board 10th Exam syllabus is uploaded online by the Uttarakhand Board of School Education. The syllabus comprises the chapters and topics covered in the year and the unit-wise marking scheme, detailing the distribution of marks and the weightage of each chapter. The syllabus uploaded online contains all the 14 subjects and students can view the syllabus for their own specific subject.

The students must ensure that they download and follow the marking scheme so that they may study in an organized manner, distributing their study time focusing on chapters that carry more marks than others.

UK Board 10th Exam Result:

The Uttarakhand Board 10th exam result is usually released online on its official web portal. The Board usually declares the result formally before publishing it online. Keeping in view the trend of last year, the result for class 10th will be declared in the last week of May.

The students must score at least 33% marks in the subjects they appear, to be eligible to pass. However, if the students do not achieve the 33% mark limit, they may appear for the supplementary exams that are conducted after the declaration of the result, in June. The exact details about the dates are released on the official website of UBSE.

UK Board 10th Supplementary Exam 2024:

Uttarakhand Board of School Education conducts a supplementary examination for the students who have failed to score at least 33 marks in any of the subjects. Thus it allows the student to pass the examination in the current academic session. This year we have seen loose marking in CBSE Board. So most likely UBSE will fail any of the students. But in case any student performs poorly then he/she can apply for supplementary exams. For this purpose, the student must fill the registration form that will be released on the official website of UBSE.
