The IIMT University was established in the year 1994 to provide Indian culture and research-based education to the current generation. IIMT is the best engineering college in Meerut City, lays higher emphasis on research and innovation on the guidelines of Bhartiya Sanskriti. The college also runs the NCC Center within the premises to give students a sense of 'service to the nation'.

Institute offers a variety of courses for providing the high-level education to the students. IIMT group has five educational campuses, sixteen colleges, one school and a hospital which are handled under the flagship of IIMT. it is approved by All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated itself by University Grants Commision.

Central Library :

The college has a well-stocked and modern library with a spacious reading room. It has a rich collection of than 1000 national and international journals in Management and Engineering etc. The Library also subscribes to DELNET, INDEST, EDUSET that provide ready access to the readers of the libraries of leading institutions in the world. IIMT provides the facility to log in various research-oriented professional societies to enhance learning and research.

Computer Labs-

IIMT university has a well-furnished and fully air-conditioned computer lab with latest computer applications. The lab is equipped with 8 servers and core i5 servers. All the Computer systems are connected through local area network.

Workshop-

The practical knowledge is most important for all because it makes the students more confidence in their areas of study. IIMT college has more than 250 well-established laboratories and workshops within the campus in which students are guided under the guidance of expert faculty members & lab instructors in various fields of Engineering like Matlab, AutoCAD, Embedded Systems, Cloud Computing and STADD PRO etc.

Sports Facility-

The college offers the opportunity to students for a regular workout, lifestyle management and sports. University has always organised various sports, sports events and students are encouraged to participate in various sports like Cricket, Hockey, Badminton, Table Tennis, Football, Basket Ball, Volleyball, Chess, Swimming etc.

The IIMT campus is spread over the 100-acres of the lush green area which offers Campus Security, accommodation for staff and students, temples to worship, seminar halls, modern conference halls. Huge state-of-the-art auditoriums are also available with large seating capacity.  

The overall campus is enabled with a high-speed internet connection. IIMT has a tie-up with Banks. It allows all students and staff members to open and operate their Bank accounts through checkbooks or Debit cards. The bank has its own ATM machine which is installed on the campus.
