Management Aptitude Test (MAT)

MAT Exam 2024: Management Aptitude Test commonly known as MAT, This exam is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) is conducted four times a year respectively in the month of February, May, September, and December for admission of candidates in 600 Business schools across India. Right now the MAT Exam 2024 is scheduled for September when the All India Management Association introduced a new mode of examination.

This year the examination is going to be Internet-Based also known as the Internet-Based Test (IBT). According to this exam pattern, the nature of questions appearing in the examination will be objective type Multiple Choice Questions.

The MAT Registration form 2024 has been released on 15 July 2024 for the entrance exam which is going to be conducted on August-September. This examination is conducted both offline and online, candidates can choose to appear in the exam in any mode as per their choice or preference. The exam pattern, fees, and syllabus are the same for both of the exams, just the dates are different.

+1 marks for every correct answer.

-0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

MAT 2024 Registration Form:

In order to take the MAT Exam 2024 candidates are required to fill out the registration form online which is made available on the official website of MAT. To register the candidates must create a login account on AIMA MAT 2024. After creating an account the candidates are required to use the login credentials to start filling out the MAT registration form 2024.

After filling in all the details make sure that the form is filled properly and that there is no mistake in the information provided finally verify and submit the application form. While registering for the examination, the examination center, is the mode of payment through which the candidate will pay the required registration fees. After the payment process has been completed click on the “Save & Next” button. The students can pay the MAT registration fee through Credit Card/ Debit Card and net banking.

Before filling, out the registration form candidates must make sure that they satisfy the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria are prescribed by the AIMA for MAT Exam 2024. Candidates are required to have a graduation degree from a recognized institute. The students who are in the final year of their graduation can also apply for the MAT Exam 2024. There is no minimum age specified for MAT 2024 and there is no limit of attempts. 

Eligibility for GATE 2024:-

AIMA prescribes the eligibility criteria for MAT 2024. Candidates must fulfill the following parameters before filling out the application form-

  • Candidates must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university or Institute.
  • Applicants of final year graduation can also apply for MAT Exam 2024. They must submit documents as proof of completion of graduation.
  • There is no minimum age bar prescribed to appear for MAT.
  • There is no limit to the attempts for the examination.

MAT Exam Pattern:

The MAT Exam 2024 is conducted both Offline and Online. Candidates can select the mode of examination according to their own preference. The MAT Exam Pattern 2024 is designed by the AIMA and it will be convenient for all the candidates who are familiar with the exam pattern before appearing in the examination.

As per the latest exam pattern the question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions. There are a total of 200 questions appearing in the examination and the question paper is divided into 5 sections: Critical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, Intelligence, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, and Indian and Global Environment.

The duration of the examination is going to be 2 hours and 3 minutes (15 minutes). Each section consists of 40 questions where each question carries 1 mark. With the help of an exam, pattern candidates can prepare a strategy to score better in the examination.

MAT Exam Admit Card:

AIMA has released the MAT Exam Admit Card 2024 on the official website. The admit card has been released for the June session, the admit card for the September session will be released soon and it will be made available online after the MAT Exam 2024 Notification. The admit card is only available online and AIMA does not provide the hard copy of the admit card.

It is mandatory for all the candidates to appear in the examination hall with their respective admit cards. It consists of the details such as the Candidate’s Name, Photograph, Date of Examination, Name and Exam Venue, and other important information related to the examination.

MAT Exam Result 2024:

Candidates can check the MAT Exam Result on the official website. In order to check the result candidates are required to enter their Roll Number or Registration Number. The result is not provided as a hard copy and it will be made available only online.

The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks performed in the MAT Exam 2024 and more than 600 Business schools across India accept the MAT score. The shortlisted candidates will be called upon for the selection procedure which includes Writing, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview.
