IPU CET Exam: The IPU CET Entrance Exam 2024 is conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. It is conducted with the aim of providing admission to various students in its undergraduate, postgraduate courses, and diploma courses in the affiliated colleges of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is one of India’s top-level universities which enrolls many students in its courses and programs.

IPU CET Exam Notification 2024:

The students are selected, not on their marks or the position they gained, but are instead selected on the basis of their overall potential. Through the successful completion of this exam, candidates will get admission into various courses like B.Tech, BBA, MBA, PGDM, MA, BA, B.Sc, LLM, MCA, etc. However, that does not mean that students hoping to pursue an MBA will not have to attempt CLAT, or students hoping to pursue BCA, MCA, or B.Tech will not have to appear for NEET, etc.

They must appear for the national-level entrance exams that are conducted since IP University Entrance Exam 2024 is a university-level exam. In some cases, the CET is not held for students who have appeared for the related national level exam.

IPU CET Exam 2024: Overview

The application for Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test 2024 usually starts in the month of March with the release of the application or registration form for IP University Admission. The exam itself is usually conducted in the month of April and May. Also from the year 2024 onwards, the IPU Exam Date 2024 will be released soon and the exam will be conducted in the online mode. Previously it was conducted in the offline mode but now the university has decided to convert it into online mode.

This also changes the procedure for registration and application, which we have detailed below in the following sections.

Students attempting the IPU CET Entrance Exam 2024 will have MCQs questions and will be solved in the OMR sheet. They will be required to answer 150 questions in which each question will have four answer options and the students need to fill in the correct response by darkening the dot next to the option. The OMR answer sheet will be available to the students by the invigilator inside the examination hall. There will be one mark deduction for every wrong answer and there will be no deduction in marks for any attempted question.

Changes in the IPU CET Exam 2024:

The IPU CET Exam 2024 is updated and changed during the years to be able to match the current educational trends and requirements. Apart from the fact that it will be in online mode for every year after 2024, there are certain other changes in the IPU CET Exam 2024. The IPU CET 2024 Exam has also changed certain aspects of the exam scheme and pattern. The first and foremost change is that the total number of marks has been decreased by decreasing the total number of questions. Also, keep in mind the IPU entrance Exam Date 2024 because it changes every year.

The number of questions for every Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test 2024 will be the same across all rather than being different for different IPU CET subject exams. The timing for the exam has also been made uniform across all IPU CET exams 2024 by allowing it to be 2.5 hours. Students must complete their exams within the stipulated time.
