In today's scenario, the IT sector is growing day by day. The latest mobile phones and applications are changing the way we communicate, do business, and access news and entertainment. Most businesses, programmers and consumers have adopted these modern techniques, making mobile application developer most demanded. It is mostly known as Mobile App Developer. The work of mobile app developer is writing programs/codes inside of a mobile development environment using C, C++, C# or Java programming languages. A developer uses the operating system (A.K.A. mobile platform) and they will develop for, such as Google's Android or Apple's iOS, then learns the programming languages and software development environment for that platform.

Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria for Mobile Application Developer-

  • Educational qualification

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Computer Engineer or a related Software Development field from a recognised university.

  • Certification and Practical Experience

After completing graduation, candidates can get a certificate in a particular language by doing practical work.

  • Age Limit

In general, the minimum age for working in any organization as a mobile app developer is 18 years, while the maximum age can vary from 25 to 40-year age.

Process

Steps to becoming a Mobile App Developer-

Step 1st: After completing a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology field, students can apply for mobile app developer’s jobs. They should have mathematics and physics subject at 12th level. After graduation, candidates also go for PG programs. These courses are offered by several private and government colleges such as IIT’s, IIIT’s, NIIT’s and BITS Pilani etc. aspirants can get admission in these colleges through IIT-JEE Mains and Advanced exams.

Step 2nd: Without any formal degree, aspirants can also apply for jobs in the mobile development field. Interested candidates can acquire the certificate of any language from a reputed organisation.  For this, applicants must have wide knowledge in the technical field.
